To fly Bobby or not to fly...

Mr. C and I will be moving to Portugal this Summer, Bobby as member of this family is going with us, no doubt there.

I have been checking the best and not so expensive way of getting Bobby there...

Mr. C and I can fly for £150 both, Bobby however, can fly for £1ooo... and the process of flying him would take upto 2 days in a crate, being handled by people he does not know...

Solution: we are driving down to Portugal with Bobby, 1 day drive, 1 day in a boat, but at least he is with us, so we are more relaxed and so is Bobby.

Bobby is a rescue dog, although i don't like that label. He's just a dog that nobody wanted anymore and he was abandoned by his owner. He was lucky though. Lucky he wasn't shot by the farmer that didn't need him, (since thats what they do i heard), and lucky he was found by Wolfwood animal sanctuary. That's where we found Bobby, via the internet. We visited him twice a week for a month, gradually getting to know him and him us. Building a little familiarity and we hope a little trust. He's nervous, and a little erratic sometimes, easily spooked, but he's a lovely dog and we are determined to do our best for him. We dont know what happened to him, or what kind of mistreatment he suffered, but in the end it doesn't matter as tomorrow is another day :)
